About Yoga Norden
Our journey began with a simple belief: that yoga can transform lives when taught with authenticity and care.
Our Story
Yoga Norden was founded in 2015 by a group of passionate practitioners who saw a need for accessible, high-quality yoga instruction in Stockholm. What started as small classes in a rented community space has grown into a thriving studio community.
Our founders spent years studying with teachers across India, the United States, and Europe before bringing their collective knowledge back to Scandinavia. They envisioned a space where traditional yoga philosophy meets contemporary wellness practices.
Today, we serve hundreds of students each month, maintaining the intimate atmosphere and personalized attention that defined our earliest days.
Our Values
These principles guide everything we do, from class design to community engagement.
Authenticity
We honor the roots of yoga while adapting practices for modern life. Every technique we teach is grounded in tradition.
Inclusivity
Yoga is for everyone. We welcome practitioners of all ages, body types, and experience levels without judgment.
Community
We cultivate connections that extend beyond the mat. Our studio is a gathering place for like-minded individuals.
Growth
We encourage continuous learning for both students and teachers. The yoga journey never truly ends.

Our Studio Space
Located in the heart of Södermalm, our studio offers a peaceful retreat from urban life. Natural light floods through large windows, creating an atmosphere that supports both energizing and calming practices.
We have invested in premium equipment including cork yoga blocks, organic cotton bolsters, and antimicrobial mats available for all students. The changing rooms feature showers and secure lockers, making it easy to practice before or after work.
The space can accommodate up to twenty students comfortably, though we typically cap classes at fifteen to ensure individual attention.
